So, as most of you who have been around for a while know, we live in a fucked up situation with our abuser who refuses to believe or understand that he is an abuser. My girlfriend is mentally ill, and I am mentally ill and physically disabled. The man who supported us (our abuser) let me leave my old life behind with promises of taking care of me and getting me out of a bad situation. Today, he walked out. This may seem great, but in fact, we’re screwed. He says he’s going to be paying for us to live where we are for a while but he gets to decide when to cut us off.
We have no way of supporting ourselves right now (i’m trying to see what i can do job wise, very small town, slim pickins, and again, I’m disabled.) We don’t even know if he’ll continue to let us grocery shop or anything. We’re looking into selling everything we own right now but it’s definitely going to take some time.. he made sure we were completely broken and helpless before he left us in the dust..
Right now we’re trying to raise money to get enough for at least a few months rent and to get us across the u.s. to where my family is so they can hopefully be able to help us a bit.
