I’d like to know a little more about plant spirits and what they can do

Plant spirits are not like any other spirit we know of. Plants fascinate me because they are so ALIEN to me. Do you know the leaves of many succulents will sprout roots if they are broken off? CAN YOU IMAGINE YOUR FINGER GETTING CUT OFF AND THEN SPROUTING A NEW YOU LIKE WTF.

The entire concept of roots, leaves, chlorophyll, xylem and phloem, BLOSSOMS. FRUIT. Are you KIDDING ME. Plants are so insanely incredible.

Plant spirits are dissimilar to animals, crystals, mythical creatures, humans, any other sort of spirit. They are to be revered and respected in their own class. 

Plant spirits may be known through the living plant. I find this to be much more powerful, intimate, and friendly than working purely through the dried, processed parts. 

However, plant spirits can be known, accessed, and worked with through dried specimens. This can be done very well and feel no need to grow a plant of every variety you would like to work with magically.

Certain plants have more magical power than other plants. I don’t know why this is. It could just be that these plants are ambitious; they seek power. Other plants are much more content to lazily drink up the sun and have never acquired any magical powers of their own.

Many plants have chosen to become allied to humans. Think of the plant species that have hugely profited from human domestication. Think of how much we, as a species, rely on plants as a whole. They are anything but our subservient green little buddies. Even the guys we call domesticated 🙂

Plants can do just about anything for you. Any magical action you wish to take, there is a plant which may support you in one form or another. Plants make incredible teachers and in some paths, plants are the first teachers and/or play a massive role in tutelary experiences. 

My plants protect and cleanse my space, teach me lessons, and keep me company. Plants have guided me through massive spiritual evolutionary experiences, kept me safe in times of great crisis, and granted me my greatest wishes.
