If your under 30 your not a seasoned witch. Honestly don’t be going around acting like an old fashioned magic user when you’ve only been at it for 3 years. I feel wired about trendy witchcraft that’s exploded over the net as some one who was raised by older witches/ warlocks.
how does one act like an “old fashioned magic user?”
As a 40 year old that only started studying magic at age 29, shut up and stop being a gatekeeping jerk. I’ve found that the only people that worry about “trendy” things are those that are insecure about their own situations. Like, why do you care? What difference does the practice of others have on your practice? People are gonna witch how they wanna witch and everyone has different aptitudes and trajectories, all are valid.
Common enough that folk with 20-years experience seem more to have 2-years experience 10 times.
If you’re learning, following, practising at all: you are what you are. No need to cut anybody open and count the rings.
This. Also, time practicing does not equal amount of effort within that. You could have started studying 7 years ago but only dabbled here and there or only done the same handful of small things over and over. Who is to say they know about all of magic better than someone who only has 3 years but has worked their butt off?
Also under 30 pshhh where did that number come from?
I’m 37. I started practicing when I got my own home 7 years ago. I still feel like a beginner. I’m still learning all the time and probably always will be!
