Witchcraft Winter Blues 🔮❄️

If you’re at all like me, seasonal depression hits hard, and keeping up with your craft can be difficult. It can even feel like a chore. You want to work spells & commune with your gods or nature, but you’re tired & heavy & Netflix feels like the perfect low-energy escape.

Well, I’m not here to tell you to try & pick up your spellbook or sit in meditation anyway, because quite frankly, pushing yourself that hard when you’re already down is NOT a good idea. But there are some simple things you can do during the winter months to help keep your connection to magick alive, even if you put off spellwork until the sun shines again.

– Burn insence. It doesn’t need to mean anything. Just burn it to make your space smell like magick 🔮

– Hang dried flowers & herbs. Even without spellwork, their energy & presence will help fill your space with life 🌻🌸

– Get a houseplant to put on your windowsill. Having something to care for feels really good. And when the sun shines again, just like you, your plant will grow 🌱

– Burn candles at night. Instead of keeping the overhead light on while you watch Netflix, flip off the switch & instead opt for the glow of a flame 🕯

– Drink a cup of tea! All those herbs and warm water mingeling together will makes your insides warm and happy 🍵
