I’m convinced that many of us don’t realize how close we are to magical things on a daily basis. Not just the simple things we encounter every day but take for granted, the superstitions we heard growing up, but the things we don’t even know about, like why the rice didn’t burn when you were late getting to the stove, or why your mom called you right after you had a panic attack to check on you, or why the sunshine felt so good on that first real spring day.
Everyday magic isn’t just the magic you do, but the magic that exists regardless of what you do or believe in. The gods don’t just live in temples and shrines, but are a part of everything you experience in your daily life, even the mundane things.
