Straight allies want to know how to support and uplift us–not try and get into it as part of the club. Literally any “evil cishet” that is trying to “usurp” the LGBT+ community could claim they are any other part of the community.

Being ace/aro does come with stigma and institutional oppression–it’s just experienced differently than what a bi person or a trans person or a gay person experiences. Y’know, kind of like we already acknowledge that no one in the LGBT community faces the exact same types of oppression. Stop rewriting the history of the LGBT community to fit your gatekeeping. All ace and aro people belong.
