If you’re going to call yourself a communist or an anarchist you have to live like one. If you can help a friend out, help them. If you can help a stranger out, help them. If we want people to understand that communism is about helping people and loving humanity, then we have to actually live by those principles. From each according to their ability, to each according to their need. This is the principle we should live our daily lives by. You don’t get to call yourself a communist if you spend all day reading Capital for the 7th time and wouldn’t give a homeless guy your spare cash. Communism isn’t a trend, it isn’t just a fun little intellectual thing to call yourself, it is a set of serious values and both large and small actions based on those values.
