By the by, if you want to create wards to protect your house or an area that is important to you with a spherical ward, the best way to do so is with an “ANCHOR”.
What I mean by that is, the best way to ensure your ward is strong and will last is to take an object you have personally charged with energy and use it as a ward energy nexus, a point where the energy you are using can be focused, and doubled back on, and recharged regularly, either with prayr, seisr or other forms of incantation and offerings.
Good objects that can be used as anchors differ from spell to spell. Usually based from the origin of where the magickal energy itself is coming from. For example, if you are in a contract or are asking for a blessed ward/power from a god/spirit for your ward perhaps a small fetish or totem relating to that god/spirit would be best.
Lodestones (magnetite), Spinel, and Carnelian (Any Carmine
Chalcedony is good tbh) wrapped in animal hide (preferably scrotal skin, deer or other bovidae subclasses work best) all make very powerful natural anchors as well.
By visualizing the object you are using as an anchor, as a sort of magickal power battery, you can create stronger wards, easier, in more localized areas.
