U really think we’d defend one another?? Are u joking? People would fight for their lives. Steal & hide. They’d take advantage. Not to the extent of the movie, but have u ever seen a riot? God ur so dumb & I hate u for being so naive

“Have you ever seen a riot?” Idk every riot I’ve been to has consisted of a lot of strangers defending eachother from police violence.

we also see this after natural disasters occur. strangers helping one another out. whether it be the Japan earthquakes, or New Orleans hurricane Katrina, people were willing to put their lives on the line for strangers. 

It’s actually quite natural to us, compared to the myths of us competing with each other and having our ‘survival of the fittest’ tendencies come out when the ‘order’ of state capitalism falls… 

And Hollywood is very skilled at making ‘capitalism, OR the end of the world,’ movies for liberals. Black Friday behaviour is NOT equal to the behaviour that is exhibited after a collective disaster. 

Hot take: competition is an evolutionary disadvantage and makes large scale survival less likely not more likely. Take a college level ecology/biology class. Nobel prizes have been given out for this realization 100 years ago. Darwin is cool I suppose but he’s the beginning of evolutionary ecology/biology not the end. (He’s not even really the beginning but that’s not important here)
