i like performing femininity because i do it for other women but i recognize that 1) as a woman, im pushed to perform it and me performing it is not a radical choice, 

2) some women are pushed to perform it more than me (like women of color and/or trans women) with more severe consequences for not performing it, 

and 3) women who chose not to perform femininity are to be celebrated and uplifted and supported
