Are Y’all Paying Attention?! Part II (5.14.18): 70 years of colonization and ethnic/cultural cleansing of the Palestinian people continued today. On the 70th anniversary of “Nakba,” where Palestinians were forced to leave their homelands under threat of gunfire and bloodshed by Western Zionists, at least 55 Palestinians were massacred in protest of the US Embassy being moved to Jerusalem. Another 2700 were wounded as Isreali soldiers fired indiscriminately in the crowd. Zero Israeli soldiers were killed, and there are reports from many on the ground that Israeli sniper fire caused much of the bloodshed. As the Palestinian people were slaughtered for peacefully protesting, Prince of Nepotism, Jared Kushner proclaimed “peace was in sight” and it was the protesters who were hindering it. 

How much longer will we turn a blind eye to such gross abuses of human decency? How much longer will we equivocate resistance against colonizers with terrorism against Israel? How much longer will we praise and encourage state-sponsored terrorism against the Palestinian people by Israel? We’ve sat idly by for 70 years. Now is the time to demand justice and liberation for the Palestinian people. #nojusticenopeace (Part I)
