The only minimum wage argument from the anticapitalist left should be “if your economic system fails when people’s basic needs are met it deserves to fail”.
On a global scale, if corporations are forced to raise their wages, they’ll raise prices, cut costs elsewhere, and dive deeper into economic imperialism. This is not a flaw, but a result, of capitalism. It’s not avoidable or excusable.
Whether or not prices have to go up does not matter. Pricing shouldn’t determine survival.
