Everyone has empty houses in their natal chart and may not know exactly what this means for them. An empty house occurs when there are no planets, nodes, or major asteroids ruling over certain houses.
Empty 1st House: (one or two ways depending on the sign on the Ascendant) little to no focus put into your physical appearance or public persona; caring very little about what others think of you; low self-esteem; confusion around sense of self
Empty 2nd House: no need for security or stability; not concerned about material possessions; lives in the moment instead of holding onto valuables/gifts; not very possessive or demanding.
Empty 3rd House: slow to reach milestones; difficulty learning and communicating; introversion; less likely to have social media; social awkwardness / anxiety
Empty 4th House: no connection or little concern with family; lack of one or both parental figures or guardians; distant / tormented relationship with family members
Empty 5th House: lack of interest in romance and/or having children, few leisure activities; conventional hobbies; sex isn’t seen as serious or important
Empty 6th House: health issues; frequent illnesses; lack of routine; relies on others for practical matters and life skills; does not perform well with fixing things
Empty 7th House: little to not interest in relationships; few romantic dealings; issues with compromising and engaging in team work; independent
Empty 8th House: distrust / fears regarding opening up to change; lack of interest in the occult, metaphysics, religion, and/or spirituality; uneasiness surrounding death and transformation
Empty 9th House: disinterests in politics, social issues, religion, or spirituality; doesn’t travel often; may choose not to study popular subjects
Empty 10th House: confusion or constant change surrounding career choice; reputation of independence; finds social classes and popularity distasteful; introverted
Empty 11th House: no interest in or lack of stability in friendships; very few friends; not particularly concerned with cliques or stereotypes; practical-minded
Empty 12th House: straightforward and honest; skeptical of spirituality, metaphysics, and the subconscious mind; needs tangible evidence; difficulties dealing with fears and insecurities because they are ignored
