Spell To Help A Plant Grow/Resurrect A Plant

male-witch:

You will need both an incense burner and incense of your choosing as well as a silver coin (such as a dime. The coin in optional but much preferred).

Now this spell is hand written by myself. You will need to go out to the plant. No meditation is needed. All you need to do is touch the plant or area around it. Imagine green light enveloping and nurturing it. Then, chant:

“Make this (Plant Name) grow. Let it thrive. Even through the hardships, let it survive. This is my will and this is my plea. So mote is be.”

When done, either light your incense inside your house near your altar or outside near the plant. (I used frankincense and lit it inside.) when you see plant growth, plant a dime in the general area around the plant as a thank you to the element of Earth. I have both resurrected my cactus and helped grow my mint back with this spell. Do NOT forget to give the plant generous helping of water.

Blessed be!

I’d like to know a little more about plant spirits and what they can do

:

YOU CAME TO THE RIGHT PERSON MY BUDDY MY FRIEND.

Plant spirits are not like any other spirit we know of. Plants fascinate me because they are so ALIEN to me. Do you know the leaves of many succulents will sprout roots if they are broken off? CAN YOU IMAGINE YOUR FINGER GETTING CUT OFF AND THEN SPROUTING A NEW YOU LIKE WTF.

The entire concept of roots, leaves, chlorophyll, xylem and phloem, BLOSSOMS. FRUIT. Are you KIDDING ME. Plants are so insanely incredible.

Plant spirits are dissimilar to animals, crystals, mythical creatures, humans, any other sort of spirit. They are to be revered and respected in their own class.

Plant spirits may be known through the living plant. I find this to be much more powerful, intimate, and friendly than working purely through the dried, processed parts.

However, plant spirits can be known, accessed, and worked with through dried specimens. This can be done very well and feel no need to grow a plant of every variety you would like to work with magically.

Certain plants have more magical power than other plants. I don’t know why this is. It could just be that these plants are ambitious; they seek power. Other plants are much more content to lazily drink up the sun and have never acquired any magical powers of their own.

Many plants have chosen to become allied to humans. Think of the plant species that have hugely profited from human domestication. Think of how much we, as a species, rely on plants as a whole. They are anything but our subservient green little buddies. Even the guys we call domesticated 🙂

Plants can do just about anything for you. Any magical action you wish to take, there is a plant which may support you in one form or another. Plants make incredible teachers and in some paths, plants are the first teachers and/or play a massive role in tutelary experiences.

My plants protect and cleanse my space, teach me lessons, and keep me company. Plants have guided me through massive spiritual evolutionary experiences, kept me safe in times of great crisis, and granted me my greatest wishes.

Spell to Encourage Plant Growth

hazelwitchcraft:

For use on herbs, houseplants, gardens, etc.

First, charge up some sun water – I used the lovely crystal goblet you see pictured above, but feel free to use any vessel you like, as long as sunlight can shine into it.

Once the water has been charged and you are ready, dip your hand into the water and sprinkle it over the intended target three times, saying as you do,

Grow hastily,
Grow healthily,
Grow heartily.

with one sprinkle being for each of these lines. Do the same for each plant/pot/plot/what have you.

Be aware that some plants, such as African violets, do not appreciate having water dripped on their leaves. For these, I suggest aiming for the soil or even for the item in which they are planted.

Repeat as needed.

For extra stubborn plants, you may wish to directly water them with the sun water, pouring three times, using the same words.

May all your plants grow swiftly and strong.
